June 24th. 4 p.m. EDT. That's when the Federal Reserve drops its annual bank stress test findings. Mark it. These results move capital ratios, dividend capacity, and buyback authorizations at the biggest banks on the board. Traders in XLF, JPM, BAC, WFC, C, GS, MS, and USB are all watching the same calendar now.
Separately, the Fed issued enforcement actions against former employees at Atlantic Union Bank and Frost Bank. Former employees — not the institutions themselves. Distinction matters. Neither AROW nor CFR flagged systemic action here.
Two Fed moves. One is a countdown. One is a personnel matter. Know the difference before you react.
Numbers don't lie. People do. Trade accordingly.
