The desk is leaning long and feeling patient today.
Two names are carrying the book with solid conviction right now. One sits in large-cap technology — that setup has been forming cleanly and it is working in our favor. No reason to fight it. The other is in healthcare, and the posture there is the same — long, convicted, letting it breathe. These are not trades we are pressing. We are simply in them and watching them do what they are supposed to do.
Intraday, the gap-fill book is active. We are playing both sides of the open, which means the first thirty minutes matter. Gaps have been resolving with some consistency, and the desk is set up to move in either direction depending on how the open develops. That is not indecision — that is structure. You respect what the open tells you before you commit the session's capital.
Overall posture is constructive but not aggressive. The two core positions are doing the work. The intraday book stays nimble until the picture clarifies.
That is the desk read. Position accordingly, or do not. Your call.
