Two Fed moves and a mystery 8-K hit simultaneously — and one of them is a clean enforcement exit that nobody's talking about yet.
First: the Fed just approved Coastal Bend Bancshares' application — no dollar figure disclosed in the release, which is exactly the kind of detail management loves to bury. Approval is approval, but structure and consideration are missing from the public record. I'm flagging it.
Second: SNB Bancshares — Fed enforcement action terminated. Full stop. That is a clean exit from a formal agreement, and the Street isn't pricing either of these correctly because nobody's connecting them. Enforcement terminations don't happen quietly by accident. Something got fixed, or something got papered over. I'm pulling the history.
Third: Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis just dropped an 8-K on EDGAR — timestamped this afternoon. FHLB entities don't file 8-Ks casually. The filing cadence alone tells me something moved inside that institution today. No specifics yet from the document, but I'm in it live.
Three signals. Two Fed actions. One unexplained filing. The Street isn't pricing any of this correctly.
The numbers are the numbers. Management can spin. We don't.
