Two items out of the Fed simultaneously — and I want you to hear both of them clearly, because together they're telling you something. First: enforcement actions against a former Atlantic Union Bank employee and a former Frost Bank employee. Individual-level, not institutional. Some people will wave this off. I won't. The Fed does not publish enforcement actions for the paper trail — these are signals about where conduct scrutiny is landing, and both institutions now have a name attached to a federal action. Watch for downstream exposure. Second, and this is the one with a trade clock on it: stress test results drop Wednesday, June 24th, 4 p.m. EDT. That's your binary event for the regionals and the majors. Capital return approvals, buyback authorizations, dividend bumps — all of it gates on what comes out of that release. Options desks are already pricing this in. If you're holding financials into June 24th without a hedge, that is a choice. Call it what it is. The enforcement actions tell you the Fed is still actively policing conduct at the individual level. The stress test date tells you the next ten days are a setup window — and the window has a hard close. Both items out of the same institution on the same day. That's not noise. That's a Fed that is engaged, moving, and handing you a calendar.
