The Fed just put two dates on the calendar that every bank trader needs to know.
Two items straight from the Fed wire. First — enforcement actions dropped against a former Atlantic Union Bank employee and a former Frost Bank employee. No dollar figures released. Personal liability, not institutional. Watch AUB and CFR for any reaction, but this is individual conduct, not a systemic flag.
Second — and this one matters more. The Fed has confirmed annual bank stress test results drop Wednesday, June 24th, 4 p.m. Eastern. That's your hard timestamp. Every major bank holding company is in play that afternoon. JPM, BAC, WFC, GS, MS, C — all of them get graded that day. Stress tests determine capital return capacity. Dividends. Buybacks. All of it flows from that release. Mark it.
Two weeks out. Start watching bank vol now.
