The Fed just put two dates on the calendar that every bank trader needs to know.
Two items straight from the Federal Reserve wire.
First — enforcement actions issued against a former Atlantic Union Bank employee and a former Frost Bank employee. No dollar figures released. Personal liability, not institutional. Watch both tickers for any reaction, but this is individual accountability, not a bank-level sanction.
Second — and this one moves markets. The Fed has confirmed annual bank stress test results drop Wednesday, June 24th, 4 p.m. Eastern. That's your hard deadline. Every major bank holding company is on the clock. JPMorgan, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Goldman, Morgan Stanley, Citi — circle that date. Stress test results historically trigger after-hours moves in financials, sometimes significant. The window opens at 4 p.m. sharp.
Two weeks out. Plan accordingly.
Numbers don't lie. People do. Trade accordingly.
