The Fed just put two dates on the calendar that every bank trader needs to know.
Two moves out of the Federal Reserve today. First — enforcement actions issued against a former Atlantic Union Bank employee and a former Frost Bank employee. No dollar figures released. Personnel actions, not institutional penalties. Watch both tickers for any sympathy reaction.
Second — and this is the bigger one — the Fed has locked in June 24th, 4 p.m. Eastern, for annual bank stress test results. That's ten days out. Every major bank holding company is in that data set. JPM, BAC, WFC, C, GS, MS — mark your calendars now. Stress tests move bank stocks. Full stop. The window between now and June 24th is a positioning window for the entire sector.
