META down 3.54%, closing at 568.97. Biggest drop in the room today. MSFT off 3.04% to 480.35 — that's a meaningful pullback for the largest company on the planet. NFLX shed 2.74%, sitting at 76.02. CRM down 2.67% to 190.97. Oracle fell 2.57% to 146.65. Five names, all tech, all down hard. That's not noise.

AMD dropped 1.63% to 506. Chips got clipped but not demolished. UNH slid 1.52% to 395.62 — healthcare caught the edge of the blade. One green name: Intel up 0.97% to 103.49. Bucking the trend on a day when almost nothing else did.

Broad market: SPY off 0.47%, QQQ down 0.16%, IWM lower by 0.34%, DIA off 0.49%. Everything negative. The QQQ held up best — interesting, given how hard its heaviest names got hit during the session.

VIX sits at 15.19. Not panicked. But not calm either. Gold data unavailable. Asian markets unavailable overnight. No economic calendar events on deck tomorrow. Nothing to brace for on the data front.

Earnings on the tape: ADI reports before the open, consensus at $3.37 EPS. That's the one to watch. AARD, ACRV, ADGM, ALMS, and ALVO are all smaller names with negative EPS estimates across the board — development-stage territory.

Exxon up 0.85% and Walmart off only 0.82% — the defensives and energy names held their ground while big tech bled. That divergence is worth noting. When META drops three and a half points and XOM is green, the market is telling you something about where money is rotating.

Today was a tech flush. Seven of eight names closed lower, most of them big-cap, most of them AI-adjacent. Whether that's rotation, risk-off, or profit-taking off recent highs — the price action makes the argument for you.

Numbers don't lie. People do. Trade accordingly.
