Yesterday's session hit tech like a freight train, and futures are barely flinching.

Asian markets — nothing in. Flying blind on overnight sentiment.

Apple down 6.1% to 275.15. That's the headline. Everything else follows. Microsoft off 3.5% at 352.83. Oracle down 3.2% at 152.46. Amazon dropping 3.1% to 227.01. Four names, same sector, same story — tech got sold hard. Walmart falling 2.7% to 115.78 tells you the pain wasn't contained to growth. Meta down 2.7% at 542.87 rounds out the red.

Now the green. AMD up 2.5% to 532.57 — bucking the entire tech tape. UnitedHealth up 2.4% to 415.53 — defensives caught a bid while everything else burned.

Futures this morning: SPY plus 0.14, QQQ up 0.81. That QQQ bounce against yesterday's wreckage is the only number worth watching right now. VIX sitting at 20.08 — elevated but not screaming. Gold up 0.71%, quiet haven buying. IWM up 0.75%, DIA up 0.14% — small caps trying to lead the recovery.

No economic data today. Calendar is clean. No Fed speakers. No catalysts on the schedule — which means price action owns the session.

Earnings this morning: Apogee reports before the open, consensus at 45 cents. Bitcoin Depot expected to lose 56 cents. AIRT, CDT, CPZ, and NBXG also on deck — no street estimates available on those.

The setup: tech got crushed, QQQ futures are climbing, and there's nothing on the macro calendar to redirect the narrative. Either this is a dead-cat bounce in the making or real dip-buying. AMD holding green through that selloff is a data point. So is Walmart bleeding with everything else. Nvidia off 1.6% to 195.74 — not leading the damage, but not immune either. Costco down nearly 2%. Salesforce down 1.7%. The breadth of red tells you this wasn't surgical.

Watch the open. Watch whether QQQ holds that premarket gap or fades the first 30 minutes.

Numbers don't lie. People do. Trade accordingly.
