The desk is leaning long today, and the conviction behind it feels earned.
Two names have the desk's attention right now, and they sit in different corners of the market — which is part of what makes the posture feel balanced rather than concentrated.
On the technology side, we have a large-cap setup that has been building cleanly. The structure is there, the momentum is confirming, and so far it is doing exactly what we needed it to do. That one carries solid conviction and the desk is comfortable where it sits.
Healthcare is the second lean — and again, solid conviction. That space has been offering cleaner setups lately than a lot of people are giving it credit for. When the broader tape gets choppy, defensive large-caps with good structure tend to find their footing. That is what we are seeing reflected in how the desk is positioned.
Both of these are active. Neither is a watch — they are working positions. The desk is not chasing anything else at the moment. When the tape is giving you what you asked for, you respect it and you let it run.
That is the desk read. Position accordingly, or do not. Your call.
