The desk is leaning long today, and there is conviction behind it.
Two names have the desk's attention right now, and both are carrying solid conviction. One is in large-cap technology — that setup has been building, it's in the book, and it's working. We're not chasing it, we're in it, and the posture stays constructive as long as the structure holds. The other is in healthcare. Same conviction level, same measured approach. Two different sectors, but the common thread is that both setups showed their hand cleanly before we leaned in.
Intraday, the tone is a little more active. Morning strength opened a window, and the gap-fill book is running in the early session. That's a short-duration play — we're pressing the opening move while the edge is there, but that's not a posture we carry all day. When the window closes, we close with it.
Overall, the desk is constructive. Not aggressive, not reactive — constructive. Two longer-duration leans with clean setups, one shorter-duration intraday play riding the open. That is how the book looks this morning.
That is the desk read. Position accordingly, or do not. Your call.
