The desk is leaning constructive today, with selective conviction on a couple of names and an active intraday fade book keeping us honest.
On the directional side, two positions carrying solid conviction right now. One is in large-cap technology — the setup has been forming cleanly, and the desk is positioned long with confidence. The other is in healthcare, also long, and that one is already working in our favor. When a position starts moving your direction early, you let it breathe. We are doing that.
On the intraday side, the posture is different. The gap-fill book is active during the opening session. When names open stretched, the desk is leaning into that move rather than chasing it. Gap fills have been consistent enough that this is not a one-off read — it is a repeatable shape we are working systematically.
So the overall picture today is two directional longs with conviction, paired with an opportunistic intraday fade discipline on the open. Measured on both sides.
That is the desk read. Position accordingly, or do not. Your call.
